Two Heflin residents are dead after an early morning crash Saturday – in Calhoun County.
Anthony Finley, age 58, was driving a 2002 Toyota Sienna, with Kimberly Finley, age 59 as a passenger when the vehicle was struck by a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Dustin Cleckler, 30, of Thorsby. Following that initial impact, the Toyota left the roadway, stuck an embankment, and multiple trees before overturning; that, according to police reports. Both Anthony and Kimberly Finley were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred on I-20 near Alabama 281 – about three miles east of the Oxford city limits.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division, is still investigating the crash – no additional information is currently available
