In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

FREDRICK DIAMOND, age 42 of Centre, arrested by the CENTRE POLICE DEPT on charges of VIOLATION OF PROTECTION ORDER;

APRIL PARRISH, 43 from Gadsden was arrested by the LEESBURG POLICE DEPT – and was charged with UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (two counts) – ALSO THE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA  AND THE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA 2nd DEGREE;

JENNIFER WHITLEY, 52 from HIGDON, was arrested by the CEDAR BLUFF POLICE DEPT – charged with the UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA 2nd DEGREE and UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, 97 inmates are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
