In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

William Estes, age 43 from Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft of Property 1st Degree;

Robby Terry, age 44 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of Failure to Appear on an Insurance Violation;

Jonathan Davis, age 39 from Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of Failure to Appear on both Speeding and a Seatbelt Violation;

And

Stacy Dawson, age 52 from Gaylesville was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Attempting to Elude, also the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
