Marshall County authorities have identified a drowning victim – whose body was found Saturday morning.
The Marshall County Coroner’s Office was dispatched at around 8:15am to the Mountain Lakes RV Resort in Langston – after the body of a man was found in the water, near the resort boat dock on Lake Guntersville. The victim, identified as Joshua Coker, age 38, was a resident of another resort in the area, visiting family members at the time.
The Coroner’s Office said no foul play is suspected; the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating that incident. The Marshall Health Systems EMS and Wakefield Volunteer Fire Department provided assistance at the scene.
