Ms. Linda Shirl Pickelsimer, age 80 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, September 27th, 2023.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Cosby and Fred O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12 until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers to include Dennie Pickelsimer, Dan Stroup, Johnny Walker, Shane Barnett, and Chris Waddell.

She is survived by her aunts, Tressie Camp, Irene Larrea, and Maxine Wood (Bruce); nephews, Dennie Pickelsimer (Susan), Shay Pickelsimer (Rochelle), John Picklesimer (Tammie); chosen nephew, Brian Pickelsimer (Ann); nieces, April Stroup (Dan), Lori Barnette (Shane); several great nieces and nephews; 3 great great nephews; sisters-in-law, Linda Renfroe Pickelsimer, Linda Manthe Pickelsimer, Joy Cummins; special friends, Donnie Hamm, Glenda Coheley, Fred O’Neal.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, James D. Pickelsimer III, Gary Pickelsimer and Jeffrey Pickelsimer.  Ms. Pickelsimer was the daughter of the late James Dalph and Margaret Lucille Pickelsimer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church Building Fund.
