Mr. Loy Wayne Rasmussen, age 79 of Centre, passed away Saturday September 9th, 2023.
A funeral service will be held 12PM Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chad Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11A until 12P on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rasmussen is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Wayne Rasmussen (Sara), David Eric Rasmussen (Valerie), and Jonathan Lee Rasmussen (Jessica); brother, Noel Gary Rasmussen; grandchildren, Lila Rasmussen, Houston Rasmussen, Cora Rasmussen, Brayden Rasmussen, and Emmy Rasmussen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Nell Battles Rasmussen.
Loy was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and the son of the late Einar and Norma Shusky Rasmussen He worked for TDS as a telephone repair technician and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
