Mrs.Sylvia King Tallent age 85 of Centre passed away Sunday August 20th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday August 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Donnie Tallent, Ricky Tallent, Delbert Patty, Ken Woodall, Jeff Shaver and Nathan Johnson.
Survivors include son, Terry (Trina) Tallent; daughter, Debbie (Doug) Bankson; grandchildren, Brooke (Seth) Neyman, Alicia (Michael) Peace, Wes (Savannah) Higgins and Katlin Higgins; great-grandchildren, Luke Eubanks, Elizabeth Eubanks, Haley Peace, Camryn Peace, Emma Peace, Mason Peace, Tucker Neyman, Nolan Neyman and Asher Higgins; chosen granddaughter, McKinley Rouss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Tallent; several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Tallent was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Willie and Nannie King and was a member of Tates Chapel Baptist Church.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer or American Heart Association.
