New Video For “Dixieland Delight” Being Shot In Fort Payne TODAY (Friday)

June Jam is set for tomorrow (Saturday, June 3rd) in Fort Payne, and Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen are planning a celebration for today!

Starting at 5:00pm they’ll host a cruise through downtown Fort Payne on Gault Avenue.  That’ll start at the Depot Museum and end at the Alabama Fan Club & Museum.  Anyone is welcome to come line the streets of downtown Fort Payne for a totally new remake of a music video for the song “Dixieland Delight”.  The fun starts at 5 PM (Central Time) this evening in downtown Fort Payne, Alabama. Also, the Fort Payne Police Department has issued a statement regarding travel in downtown Fort Payne during June Jam. (See below)

On Friday June 2nd starting at 2:00 pm 18th Street NE from Williams Ave NE to Gault Ave will be closed until pedestrian foot traffic is over after the concert.

  • William Ave will be closed from Mims Street to 18th Street
  • The front area of William Ave Elementary School will be a drop off point for shuttle service only. No public parking will be allowed.

Starting Saturday, June 3rd at 6:00 am the following streets on the west side of Gault will be closed to vehicles.

Some areas that are not closed but will have heavy foot traffic.

  • 18th Street NW between Grand Ave NW and Gault Ave N

For all area residents, you of course will be able to access your home. We’re trying to lower vehicle traffic in your area because of heavy pedestrian foot traffic. For those that are renting out vehicle spaces for the event, you will be allowed to get those vehicles to your rental spaces.

Thank you for your cooperation during the event.
