Jarrett’s perfect performance at the plate lifts Spring Garden softball at Faith Christian

ANNISTON – Maggie Jarrett fell a double short of the cycle. She drove in five runs in leading Class 1A, No. 10 Spring Garden to a 19-0 area softball win at Faith Christian in three innings on Tuesday.

Jarrett went 4-for-4 in the game with a home run, a triple and a pair of singles for the Lady Panthers (12-10). Madi Ham had three hits, including a double, with a walk, a run and a RBI. Helena Ingram was also 3-for-3 with a walk and three runs. Addie Word went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.

Avery Steward homered and had two RBIs. Olivia Law and Lilly McCain both collected a hit, two walks and three runs. McCain also had a RBI. Maggie Reedy walked, scored three runs and drove in another. Kayley Kirk contributed a walk, a run and a RBI. Rylie Ham walked and scored twice.

McCain worked all three innings in the circle to earn the win. She allowed just two hits and had a strikeout.
