Toby Abernathy, 47 of Centre – Failure to Appear Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance/Bond Revocation, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Attempt to Elude, and Reckless Endangerment;

And

Robert Cook. age 37 of Ft Payne – FTA Operating Vehicle without Insurance, Expired Tag, Expired License (x2), Operating Vehicle Without License and an Open Container Violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause / Subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
