HOKES BLUFF – Sand Rock managed just five hits, but the pitching of Jadyn Foster and EllaGrace Hood helped keep them in the game at Hokes Bluff in softball action on Thursday. The third-ranked Lady Wildcats won 5-3.

Foster tossed four innings of no-hit ball with six strikeouts for Sand Rock (23-6). Hood worked three innings and surrendered just one earned run on three hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

Hood also had a hit, a walk and a RBI at the plate. Foster walked three times and scored twice. Emma Sipsy walked twice, scored a run and drove in two.

Briley Knight contributed a hit and a RBI. Katelyn StClair and Aliyah King both had a hit and scored a run. Lacey Barnette drove in a run and Bailey Kilgore finished with a hit.
