Sandra Simons, 69 of Centre, was arrested January 3rd at 1:15 AM, charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd degree, and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia by the Centre Police Department.

Richard Broome, 41 of Centre, was arrested January 2nd at 9:53 PM, charged with fugitive from justice by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Terry Sopish, 59 of Cedar Bluff was arrested January 2nd at 3:55 PM, charged with assault 3rd degree, by the Cedar Bluff Police Department.

Tyler Morgan, 27 of Piedmont, was arrested January 2nd, at 2:30 PM, charged with two counts of failure to appear by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office.

Juan Arellano, 39 of Piedmont, was arrested January 2nd, at 1:35 PM, charged with violation of protection order by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office.

Sammy Bailey, 76 of Fyffe was arrested January 2nd, at 12:05 PM, charged with four counts of dissemination-display of child pornography, and 46 counts of transmitting obscene material to a child, by the Centre Police Department.

Dalton Swafford, 18 of Centre, was arrested January 2nd at 11:22 AM, charged with possession of burglar tools, by the Centre Police Department.

Jamie Kimmons, 39 of Centre was arrested January 2nd at 1:35 AM, charged with two counts of unlawful possession of controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Joseph Hunter, 33 of Centre, was arrested January 2nd at 1:34 AM, charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of unlawful possession of controlled substance, and carrying brass knuckles, by the Centre Police Department.

Today 104 inmates are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
