Terra Helms, 31 of Fort Payne was arrested December 29th at 12:28 AM, charged with two counts of unlawful possession of controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia by the Leesburg Police Department.

Justin Scott, 33 of Collinsville was arrested December 29th at 12:26 AM, charged with 3 counts of failure to appear by the Leesburg Police Department.

Jeffrey Walsh, 37 of Centre was arrested December 27th, at 10:39 PM, and released December 28th at 10:45 PM, charged with Domestic Violence 3rd degree, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, promoting prison contraband, and 3 counts of unlawful possession of controlled substance.

Shedrick Hill 41 of Centre,was arrested December 27th, at 8:55 PM, and released December 28th, at 9:08 PM, charged with DUI by the Centre Police Department.

Jaylin Arnold, 22 of Centre was arrested December 28th at 1:48 PM, charged with a court order by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Steven Hardy, 37 of Gaylesville, was arrested December 28th at 10:02 AM, charged with three counts of failure to appear, by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Steve Glover, 51 of Gadsden, was arrested December 28th at 6:11 PM, and later released at 9 PM, charged with sexual abuse 2nd degree by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Today, 88 inmates are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
