Sand Rock girls lose heartbreaker in OT in tournament opener

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – At the Marlin Christmas Classic in Panama City on Wednesday, Katelyn StClair scored 37 points, including four 3-pointers and an 11-of-16 performance from the free-throw line, but the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats lost a heartbreaker in overtime to Van Buren, Tenn., by the final of 77-73.

StClair also had nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Zoey Handy came away with 15 points, nine boards, four steals, three assists and two blocks. Jacey Stephens finished with 14 points, including four treys, with five boards, two assists and two steals.
