A log truck overturned along highway 9 north of Cedar Bluff near Salem Church on Wednesday afternoon. The driver was shaken up but no major injuries, according to the report. The logs spilled along the side of the roadway.
A cleanup crew went back to the area on Thursday to reload the logs onto another trailer for transportation. Alabama highway 9 was closed by the Alabama Department of Transportation from 1 PM until just after 2 PM Thursday afternoon. Alabama State Troopers, Gaylesville Fire Department, and Cedar Bluff Fire Department assisted with traffic.
