Mrs. Sherry McCullough Dollar, 59 of Piedmont, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from the Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Fort Payne.

The family receiving friends two hours prior to the service at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Gene Dollar; a son, Mike Dollar of Englis, FL; one grandson, Skyler and Chasitity Dollar of Piedmon; three sisters, Melody Whaley, Lisa Brown, and Caroline Sentell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Blaze McDowell, Will McDowell, Gary Brown, Sam Grogan, Dan Lumpkin, and James Sanford.

Honorary  Pallbearer will be Dan Smith.

She was raised in Jamestown, a graduate of Gaylesville High School, and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She obtained her Nursing Degree from Jacksonville State University and
worked as a Registered Nurse for 36 years. Mrs. Dollar enjoyed
gardening, being around children, serving people and serving the Lord.
