A Gaylesville man has multiple charges after fleeing from Chattooga County Deputies Saturday night. As he attempted to elude pursuing officers, he drove into Cherokee County where he abandoned the vehicle and after a foot chase ending with Cherokee County Deputies arresting 44 year old Christopher Tallent for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant on for failure to appear on a previous charge and he was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
