Recently, Cherokee County Detention Center Corrections Officer Summer Sutton, was promoted to Deputy Warden of the facility.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver said he and Chief Deputy Josh Summerford with Warden Wilks are proud of the hard work ethic and determination Sutton has shown.
