Audrey Welden, age 31 of Ider – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia;

Jeremy Howard, age 46 of Centre – Community Corrections AWOL;

Willie Epps, age 42 of Gaylesville – Attempting to Elude, Switched Tag and Driving while Revoked;

Amber Whaley, age 43 of Trion, Georgia – HOLD/Another Agency;

Gabriel Byrdsong, age 41 of Gadsden – Theft of Property 4th Degree (two counts);

Justin McKnight, age 23 of Leesburg – HOLD/Another Agency;

Joseph Law, age 33 of Piedmont – Domestic Violence/Strangulation, Domestic Violence 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempting to Elude and Attempted Assault 2nd Degree;

Amanda Watson, age 31 of Cape Spring – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia;

and

Kaleb Johnson, age 21 of Boaz – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Appear/Operating Vehicle without Insurance.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
