A limb hanging across the roadway was reported by a motorist at about 6:50 Monday morning – just past the Gaylesville four-way stop and headed toward Cedar Bluff – on Highway 68.
The caller stated that the limb wasn’t in the roadway, but was hanging low ‘causing it to be struck by 18-wheelere’s passing underneath.
Crews quickly trimmed and removed the limb with only a short hindrance to traffic.
