One person was air-lifted for treatment, following a serious single-vehicle accident in Cherokee County Wednesday morning.

Details remain sketchy however according to early reports, that crash took place just around 4:15 on County Road 45 near the intersection of 179.  A landing zone was set up at Spring Garden school, with the victim being flown out at around 5:30. 

No additional information regarding the extent of that person’s injuries has yet been made released and the wreck remains under investigation by State Troopers
