According to a statement from Cedar Bluff Police Chief Brody Moses, the officer was traveling back to the Cedar Bluff Police Department after assisting Alabama State Troopers when the officer had a medical issue.
The officer was transported to Floyd/Cherokee Medical Center by Floyd/Cherokee EMS.
