Cherokee County Arrest Files:

James McGatha, age 52 of Piedmont – Failing to Appear;

Sasha Hopkins, age 35 of Centre – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Appear (two counts);

John Barfield, age 57 of Mentone – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (three counts) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

Ansley Wolfe, age 24 of Cedar Bluff – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

and

MaKenzie Blackmon, age 19 of Summerville, Georgia – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
