OVERVIEW: Rain Saturday afternoon and night, alongside breezy winds, is forecast to mix with or change to snow for parts of central Alabama Sunday morning and persist through the afternoon. Surface temperatures above freezing should limit accumulations and travel impacts during the day for most, but we continue to evaluate the potential for colder air and a touch more in the way of snow for across the northernmost/northeastern most counties. Any lingering roadway moisture Sunday night into Monday morning could result in icy spots as temperatures fall below the freezing mark.
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS FORECAST: Slight adjustment to the limited impact area.
