GERALDINE – Lanie Henderson netted 25 points, including five 3-pointers, in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 65-48 girls basketball victory over Boaz in the Geraldine Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday.
Henderson also had four boards, three assists and a steal for the Lady Wildcats (2-0). Katelyn StClair tossed in 14 points, including a pair of treys, with an assist and a steal. Caley Garrett finished with eight points, including two 3-pointers, with four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Sand Rock takes on Asbury at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
