Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Michael Shropshire age 32 of Centre was arrested on charges of Drug Trafficking, the Possession of Barbiturates, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Receiving a Stolen Vehicle, Promoting Prison Contraband/Drugs, and Possession of Concealed Weapon without a Permit in addition to Alias Writ of Arrest, three counts;

and

Savannah Edwards, age 22 of Chattsworth, Georgia was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Carrying Brass Knuckles…and a Sling Shot… and being a Fugitive from Justice.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 75 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
