A Cherokee County man was hurt in a three vehicle accident occurring late Thursday afternoon on Highway 411.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck was at the intersection with County Road 83 at 5:20pm, and involved a 2009 Mitsubishi that was being driven by a male resident of Centre, who was transported for treatment of unspecified injuries – along with a 2009 Chevrolet and a 2005 Ford being driven by a male resident of Centre and a male resident of McDonough, Georgia respectively that fortunately escaped injury.

That wreck remains under investigation by state troopers.
