PIEDMONT – Jadyn Foster tossed a three-hit shutout in Sand Rock’s 6-0 softball win at Piedmont on Monday.

Foster finished with six strikeouts for the Lady Wildcats (16-12-1). She also had a pair of hits at the plate, including a double.

Maggie Hester led Sand Rock’s bats by going 3-for-3 with two runs. Rylin St. Clair doubled, walked and scored twice. Katelyn St. Clair added a hit, a run and a RBI. EllaGrace Hood had a hit and a RBI. Sherina Foster collected a hit, a walk and two RBIs. Lindsey Chambers contributed a hit and a walk. Sammi Parker finished with a walk and a RBI.

Savannah Smith, Grace Epperson and Jenna Calvert had the Piedmont hits. Emily Farmer suffered the loss. She finished with six strikeouts.

Sand Rock hosts Cherokee County on Tuesday afternoon beginning at 4:30 p.m.
