A Cedar Bluff resident was air-lifted to for treatment following a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon in Cherokee County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – the wreck took place on County Road 59 at approximately 3:40pm when the male driver lost control of the 2007 Suzuki, left the roadway and crashed – with the bike coming to rest in the ditch.

No additional information concerning the condition of the injured party has yet been released.

That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
