Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Jordan Devontae Covington, age 24 of Centre – Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling (two counts) and one count of Reckless Endangerment;

and

Hershel Sirlester Houston, age 51 of Centre – Bond Revocation and Failure to Appear on the prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation of the Prohibition Law.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 76 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
