Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Scooter Howell.

These pictures were taken just two years ago.  Howell was incredibly passionate about his work with the Cherokee County Park Board, and also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce.  He will be greatly missed.

Mr. William Thomas “Scooter” Howell was born August 23rd, 1945 in the Ft Payne area.  Mr. Howell passed away December 29th (2020) at home. 

There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring, to be announced later. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church or Comfort Care Hospice at 600 Broad Street, Suite 301 in Gadsden, Alabama  35901.
