One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Cherokee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at approximately 11:15 on County Road 14 – and involved a Fed-Ex truck. The driver, a male resident of Gadsden, was transported by Floyd EMS for treatment.
No additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was immediately available.
Other Fed-Ex trucks were brought in to off-load and continue delivery of the packages from that vehicle.
Also responding to the scene, were members of the Ellisville Fire Department, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
The cause of that mishap remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
