Cherokee County Arrest File for Wednesday:

Matthew James Beech, age 40 of Trion, Georgia – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Fleeing/Attempting to Elude;

Nancy Dutton McGatha, age 54 of Grant – DUI/Any Substance

and

Justin Edward Davis, age 28 of Piedmont – Court Order.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 78 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
