More than 97,000 pounds of pre-made salad products sold at Walmart and Target stores – , among other retailers, have been recalled due to possible E.coli contamination. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety & Inspection Service announced the recall of the products, each of which contain meat or poultry, and were made from October 14th – 16th and are stamped “Est. 18502B.”

The salads were shipped to distribution centers in – Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

In addition to Walmart and Target, the salads were sold at Aldi and Domino’s Pizza, among others. You can see a full list of retailers and recalled products here.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, 17 people have been infected as a result of the outbreak of the E. coli 0157:H7 strain linked to the products.

Seven people have been hospitalized but no deaths have been reported.

No cases have been reported in Alabama, according to the CDC.
