Rome Police Release Image of Suspect in Synovus Bank Robbery Case

Rome Police have now released a surveillance image of the subject that they believe robbed the Synovus bank branch on Shorter Avenue in West Rome, around 3:00pm Tuesday.  Police say the man got $1,000 and left on foot going toward North Hughes Street. Bank officials said there was no weapon visible during the robbery and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male about five-feet-eight-inches tall (5‘8”) – and clean-shaven.
