Portion Of County Road 14 Will Be Closing For Bridge Replacement Beginning Monday October 28th

The Cherokee County Highway Department would like to notify the public that a portion of County Road 14 south of Ellisville will be closing at 8:00 a.m. on Monday October 28, 2019 for a bridge replacement. During this bridge closure all traffic will be detoured except for local traffic only.

The road will be closed at the intersection of Cherokee County Road #59 on the west end and Alabama Highway 9 on the east end. It is anticipated that this bridge will remain closed for approximately 2 months depending on weather conditions.

During this closure all traffic will be detoured along County Road #178 near the Mountain Springs Community.

The Highway Department apologizes in advance for this inconvenience.
