A Floyd County Grand Jury has returned a murder indictment against an 18 year old, in the shooting death of a 37 year old man earlier this year (2018).
On July 25th just prior to midnight, officers with the Rome Police Department responded to 814 Maple Avenue in reference to a shooting.

At the home they found LaMario Majors who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest; he was taken to an area hospital, where he died five days later.
Investigators identified Keilan Orr as the shooter.
