The Arena on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre will play host to yet another highly-anticipated event this Tuesday, with the return of “A Taste of Cherokee”.

The buffet line will begin at 5:30pm.
Again, not only will the public have the opportunity to enjoy food from area restaurants but they’ll be entertained by the Cherokee County High School Band and the proceeds will go to help maintain the Avenue of Flags to honor Cherokee County’s deceased veterans.
the Spirit of Cherokee organizes and promotes the Avenue of Flags on seven major holidays in memory of the deceased servicemen and women of Cherokee County with displays being placed in the median on U.S. Highway 411 from Centre to Leesburg.
Holidays are (weather permitting): President’s Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day.
The Spirit of Cherokee currently has a total of 452 crosses and flags being flown in memory of Cherokee County’s deceased veterans.
A Taste of Cherokee takes place in the Gadsden State Cherokee Arena, 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.
