Mrs. Janice K. Sentell, 78 of Leesburg passed away, surrounded by her family, on May
3, 2018 after an extended illness. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M.
Saturday at Perry Funeral Home in Centre.

Graveside services will be held at Fairview United Methodist Cemetery 3 P.M. Sunday with Reverend Jeff Davis and Reverend Ira Laney officiating.
She is survived by one son, Ronnie Mack Sentell of Hokes Bluff, one daughter, Cindy (David) James of Centre, Brothers Jim (Judy) Dickinson and Bob (Sylvia Pledger) Dickinson, both of Cave Spring, Ga. Special caregivers, Rena Dupree, Barbara Dupree, and Paula Andrews, several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Sambo also survive. Mrs. Sentell was preceded in death by her husband, of 41years, D. Mack Sentell, parents, James Byron and Jeanette Weaver Dickinson.
Mrs. Sentell was a native of Fayette, AL and a longtime resident of Leesburg, AL. Affectionately known as “KK” by her family and “Momma Janice” by others, she was a devoted wife, mother, friend and an avid Alabama football fan.
Mrs. Sentell was a retired bookkeeper, having worked for the Cherokee County Commission, Mid Western Nurseries and Snead Tractor Co. She was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers include, James Dupree, Sid Garrett, Gary Sewell, Mike Sewell, Jimmy Dickinson, Hunter Dickinson, George Eubanks, Terry Hawkins, Scott Walker and Brent Snead. Honorary pallbearers include Bud Ringer, Hal Sewell, Larry Eubanks, Steve Ragan, Jerry Keener and Jon Massey.
The family requests no flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview United Methodist Cemetery Fund or Centre First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir Fund.
