According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report one person was hurt in a two-vehicle mishap involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on Highway 273 close to County Road 81.

That wreck, which took place at 3:10pm, involved a 1997 Harley Davidson, driven by Cedar Bluff resident Gina Allred, age 52, and a 2009 Nissan driven by 29 year old Steven Pledger of Centre.  According to the report, neither Allred nor Pledger was hurt, however a passenger in Allred’s vehicle, 24 year old Lori Ray, did sustain injuries.

No mention was made regarding the extent of Ray’s injuries or where she resides.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
