A 19 year old Mentone man has been arrested, and charged with First Degree Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop conducted by Ft Payne Police Patrol Officers Matt Jones & Nick Hill.
Byrum Thomas Emory reportedly had in his possession a “sizeable amount” of marijuana in addition to a large number of pills, two sets of digital scales, some small plastic baggies, and a large amount of cash. He was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The Ft Payne Officers were assisted by a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and his K-9.
