While on routine patrol, an alert Rome City Police Officer noticed a suspicious vehicle at a location where it shouldn’t be at that time of night, and he stopped to investigate, which led to the arrest of a man on Rape charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records 30 year old Cameron Jerome White from Woodstock took a 14 year old girl to Ridge Ferry Park in Rome where he allegedly held her against her will, molested her and raped her.

White is also charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and false imprisonment.
