Harrison Ford helps out in traffic accident

ABC/Eric McCandless(SANTA PAULA, Calif.) — It was Harrison Ford to the rescue Sunday when a woman lost control of her car on a California highway.

Local authorities say the actor helped first responders assist the driver of the car, which veered off of the eastbound 126 Freeway around noon Sunday and crashed into an embankment.  Ford was reportedly driving either to or from the airport in nearby Santa Paula, about an hour northwest of Los Angeles.  T

he driver was taken to the hospital and treated for what was said to be minor injuries.

Neither Ford nor his rep had any comment on the actor’s involvement.
