The investigation into a “hit and run” incident that left a woman in critical condition earlier this week in Gadsden continues.

According to a news release issued Wednesday, at approximately 12:20am Monday officers responded to East Broad Street near Padenreich Avenue, to find the 39 year old victim with significant injuries.  Investigators are still seeking information regarding the vehicle description and looking for video surveillance footage from the area in hopes of developing leads in the case.
