Funeral services for Shirley Mae Freeman, 79, of Ball Play, will be 11:00 AM Thursday August 31, 2017 at Croft Ferry Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman passed away August 28, 2017. Rev. Jimmy Fair and Rev. Donald Rader will officiate. Burial will follow at Union #3 Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Missouri. Shirley was always taking care of others but her greatest accomplishment in life was her two sons. She was a member of Union #3 Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; Wooster Cornelius Bailey and Angie Annie Moorland Bailey and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by sons; Ronald (Leta) Freeman, and Ray (Dina) Freeman, grandchildren; Christina Freeman Sears, Dustin (Fabree) Freeman, Mitchell Freeman, and Joanna Freeman, great grandchildren; Baylie Sears and Aubreigh Freeman and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Green, Kevin Garrett, Jeff Bost, Stevie Maynes, Ronnie Pollard, Greg Pollard and Tom Bouska.
Special thanks to the staff of Piedmont Health Care and ICU of RMC in Anniston.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday night at the funeral Home.
