On Tuesday Cherokee County Superintendent of Schools Mitchell Guice was officially sworn in for another term.  Guice – surrounded by friends and family members – was administered the oath of office by Cherokee County Probate Judge Kirk Day in his chambers at the County Administration Building

Mr. Guice added that his main priority as always, was seeing that Cherokee County students continue to receive the finest educational opportunities available anywhere.

He handily won his bid for re-election back in November, gathering a total of 6,548 votes in the race, almost 63% of the votes cast.
