An Etowah County woman lost her life in a vehicle accident Sunday, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Frances Marie Jarmon, 43, of Sardis, died after the 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier that she was riding in left the roadway and struck an embankment on Bruton Gap Road near the intersection of Hazel Bend Road.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:18 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2016. The incident was a single vehicle accident.
Three other individuals were also injured in the wreck. Two were transported to a Birmingham hospital, the other to a Gadsden hospital.
