A 21 year old Gadsden woman has been arrested and charged with chemical endangerment of a child, after admitting to authorities that she had illegally used methamphetamine while pregnant.
That admission came in the wake of Brandi Diane Thomas failing a drug screening.
Thomas was arrested June 22nd, and was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on the felony charge; she is being held on a cash bond of $10,000; as a condition of the bond she must successfully complete a drug treatment program – and she’ll be under supervision of Etowah County Community Corrections.
She is also being held on two felony warrants for possession of a forged instrument.
