The Jacksonville Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public, in identifying the person caught on video surveillance, running from the Jacksonville Walmart, after allegedly stealing a camouflage jacket.
According to reports, on October 23rd the man walked into the store and took the jacket; as he was preparing to leave he was confronted by a loss prevention officer in the store; police say he assaulted the female officer, and escaped; essentially turning a misdemeanor case of shoplifting into a felony offense of robbery.
