A 43-year old Rome woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Friday on felony charges of theft by taking.
According to the arrest warrant, Stacey Crowley Chubbs, of a Wood Creek Way address, took $11,000 from the Elm Street School Parent Teacher Organization on August the 5th.
Chubbs was the treasurer of the PTO and the money was used for unauthorized purposes, according to jail records.
